Public Drupal Training Courses in Australia and New Zealand

PreviousNext runs public Acquia Drupal Training  in Sydney and Melbourne and Canberra on an intermittent basis, with current courses listed below. Alternatively, we can provide on-site Drupal training in any location in Australia or New Zealand.

Our Public Drupal training courses are targeted at individuals and organisations looking to make the switch to Drupal from other content management systems and development frameworks. The public Drupal training courses are designed to provide a clear progression from general understanding of Drupal's core features and administration, basic Site Building, and then deeper into Front End Development & Drupal Theming and Drupal Module Development. We also participate with the Drupal user groups in Australia and New Zealand so our students can benefit from mentoring by the local Drupal community at monthly meetups and online forums.

Stay tuned for the next scheduled public courses...

General Public Drupal Training Details

We will be scheduling public courses on a regular basis, but due to venue restrictions, require a minimum of 8 students for a session to run.

In the event you've booked a course that cannot run in your chosen month, your booking will be valid for the next available course.  We're happy to provide a full refund of the course fees if you're unable to attend a rescheduled course. Please contact us about on-site training if you require guaranteed consecutive dates for Drupal training. A minimum of 4 students or equivalent fee is required for on-site training.

Other conditions and requirements for public training courses include:

  • A general understanding of the internet and other content management systems (e.g. Wordpress, Joomla) is assumed for all courses.
  • Bookings must be received 10 days prior to a scheduled course date for us to confirm venue bookings.
  • Cancellations more than 5 days before a training session will be refunded or credited to a subsequent session.
  • No refund or credit will be provided for cancelations less than 5 days before a training session.
  • Students need to bring their own laptop computer for all training sessions.
  • For site building and development courses, students need to install Acquia's Dev Desktop for Mac or Windows.
  • All public training courses are for Drupal 7 unless specified.
  • Tea and coffee are provided during sessions, but students will need to bring or buy their own lunch.
  • Courses are not "official" Drupal certification, as none currently exists globally, but attendance certificates are provided.

All public courses cost $495 (+GST & booking fee) per student, per day. Discounts are available for course package bookings and for valid concession card holders.
